在传统印象中，咖啡馆往往会选择开在人流涌动的商场和街角，如果有人跟你说去医院喝一杯咖啡你会有什么反应呢？或许你会觉得有些不可思议，但是在医院里开一间咖啡馆已经不是什么稀奇的事情了，甚至在成为一种潮流。最近，有很多医院增加了咖啡馆的设置，这配置可以消磨时间又能调适紧张的情绪，在外国，医院里有咖啡馆已经是基本配置。

通过网络搜索，我们已经发现国内多家医院开设了咖啡馆。但其基本包含两种模式：自营和第三方经营。

邵医咔费——开在医院里的名校茶园

在邵逸夫医院4号楼的南面，一栋全透明的2层楼建筑显得格外引人注目，淡绿色的玻璃上，“邵医茶园”几个字闪亮而醒目。1月18日，让很多同行羡慕的“别人家的茶园”——“邵医茶园”正式开放，成为继《邵医之声》、邵逸夫医院官方微信号、邵医讲堂、邵逸夫医院教育学院、邵医健康云平台、邵医精品手术演示会后，“邵医系列”的又一新成员。

在 hospitals 建立一个 cafe，是很多员工期待的事情。Cafe 用什么品牌？怎么定位？McAfee 医院院长蔡秀军有自己的想法。

“Hospitals 要 build cafes, many international coffee brands want to collaborate with hospitals, but as a hospital with a deep Western background, we hope to integrate the hospital's culture and concepts into it, combine employee needs with the hospital brand, and create our own brand. Therefore, we named the cafe 'McAfee Cafe', I believe 'McAfee Cafe' will definitely become one of the proud McAfee brands in our hospital.”

Shanghai East Hospital's Starbucks

Fifteen years ago, Shanghai East Hospital began to change the "flavor" of its outpatient hall by introducing "Starbucks" nationwide. At that time, people were worried about in-hospital infections not happening; instead,"Starbucks" spread from Shanghai to all over China.

The next stop for East Hospital is to position its outpatient area as a "Great Living Room": wireless internet coverage, books to read, coffee to drink. Turn waiting time into leisure time; convey a human attitude: illness is not entirely bad; it is also your body's message: just take this pause or rest.

Sichuan People's Hospital Coffee Shop

Sichuan People's First General Hospital has opened a coffee shop on the first floor under No. 1 Outpatient Building of West China Medical Center - Sichuan Province’s first-ever “Hospital Coffee Shop,” which has been well-received by patients’ families and medical staff alike. The coffee shop is located near patient families waiting for hand surgery outcomes outside operating rooms; inside are bar counters and sofas featuring lush green plants for reading magazines free Wi-Fi access available. A display screen on walls shows real-time updates on patients' surgical status at any given moment.

Patients no longer need anxiously squatting at hand surgery room doors or sitting in cold corridors! Here they can calm their anxious hearts while directly seeing family members' surgical situations.

Apart from providing convenience for patient families visiting their loved ones undergoing operations or treatments,"Sea Returners" (experts who have studied abroad) and foreign experts working here enjoy drinking tea daily after high-intensity work sessions more than ever before.

Three Consumer Groups

In hospitals' cafes primarily consume three groups: medical professionals (including doctors), patients & relatives.

For these three consumer groups,

A cup of tea reduces stress & boosts efficiency.

For patients:

Warmth & aroma give them comfort.

For patient relatives:

Tea brings relaxation amid anxiety & emotional pressure release through sipping tea alone or socializing over cups together within an atmosphere designed specifically for healing experiences shared between caregivers & care receivers during difficult times when others may be seeking support elsewhere due mostly because there isn't another place quite like home where feelings remain strong enough without needing much additional space so let me introduce you now two things beyond what these spaces typically offer:

1.Coffee replaces medicinal aromas;

2.Tea warmth makes up chilly atmospheres;
