A Brief History of Coffee in English: From Legend to Global Phenomenon
Coffee, a beverage that has become an integral part of daily life for millions around the world, has a rich history dating back centuries. Its journey from obscurity to global phenomenon is a fascinating tale of discovery, innovation, and adaptation.

However, it wasn't until Luigi Bezzera patented another espresso machine with steam-powered pistons in 1901 that modern espresso began taking shape. This invention revolutionized the way people consumed their daily dose of caffeine and paved the way for today's sophisticated brewing methods.
As coffee gained popularity worldwide during the early decades of the 20th century – thanks largely to technological advancements like vacuum-packed beans – entrepreneurs saw opportunities galore. One such entrepreneur was Max Melamed who founded Starbucks Coffee Company with Jerry Baldwin and Zev Siegl in Seattle's Pike Place Market on March 30th,1971.
