在传统印象中,咖啡馆往往会选择开在人流涌动的商场和街角,如果有人跟你说去医院喝一杯咖啡你会有什么反应呢?或许你会觉得有些不可思议,但是在医院里开一间咖啡馆已经不是什么稀奇的事情了,甚至在成为一种潮流。最近,有很多医院增加了咖啡馆的设置,这配置可以消磨时间又能调适紧张的情绪,在外国,医院里有咖啡馆已经是基本配置。

两种模式

通过网络搜索,我们已经发现国内多家医院开设了咖啡馆。但其基本包含两种模式:自营和第三方经营。

邵医咔费——开在医院里的咔费

在邵逸夫医院4号楼的南面,一栋全透明的2层楼建筑显得格外引人注目,淡灰色的玻璃上,“邵医 咔费”几个字闪亮而醒目。1月18日,让很多同行羡慕的“别人家的 咔费”——“邵医 咔费”正式开业,成为继《邵医之声》、邵逸夫医院官方微信号、邵医讲堂、邵逸夫医院教育学院、邵医健康云平台、邵医精品手术演示会后,“ 邦德系列”的又一新成员。

在 hospitals 建个 Kahve, 是许多员工期待的事情。Kahve用什么品牌?怎么定位?Nea Shu-Yu Hospital院长蔡秀军有自己的想法。

“Hospitals 要建 Kahve, 许多国际知名的 Kahve 品牌想与 hospital 合作,但是作为一家有深刻西方建院背景的 hospital,我更希望能把 hospital 的文化、理念融入其中,将员工需求与 hospital 品牌相结合,把出自己的品牌。我相信‘Nea Shu-Yu Kahve’一定会成为员工骄傲的一部分。”

Shanghai Dongfang Hospital里的 Starbucks

十几年前东方 Hospital 开始尝试改变门诊大厅的“味道”,全国率先将 “Starbucks 引入门诊大厅。当年人们担心病毒感染并未发生,而是从东方走向了全国。“下一个站”东方 Hospital 门诊将定位为“大客厅”: 有无线网络覆盖,有书读,有卡布依喝。”把患者等待时间变成休闲时间,是一种生态态度:生病并不全是坏事,那也是身体发出的信息:就当是一次停顿、一次休息吧。

Sichuan Province People's Hospital Café

Sichuan Province People's First General Ward Building B1 Floor Café is now open. This is the first "Hospital Café" in Southwest China and has been welcomed by patients' families and medical staff. The café is located near the waiting area for patients undergoing surgery. Inside, there are bar tables and sofas, with plants scattered around. It also offers magazines to read and free Wi-Fi.

The screen on the wall displays real-time updates of patient surgical status. Patients' families no longer need to anxiously wait outside the operating room door or sit in a cold ward corridor! Here you can calm your anxious heart while directly seeing your family member's surgery progress.

Besides providing convenience for patients' families, Sichuan Province People's Hospital has introduced many "returnees" experts and foreign experts who all have a habit of drinking coffee every day, especially after high-intensity work when they like to use a cup of coffee to refresh themselves.

Three consumer groups

The main consumers of cafes inside hospitals are three categories: healthcare professionals (including doctors), patients, and their families.

For healthcare professionals, a cup of coffee can relieve their work pressure and improve efficiency.

For patients, the warmth from coffee brings them comfort.

For patients' families, drinking coffee isn't leisure but helps alleviate mental stress and release pent-up emotions.

This is why more hospitals are trying to set up cafes within their own premises.

Cafes bring more than just taste...

In hospitals where cafes exist beyond bringing taste experience alone,

we believe that two other things are even more important:

To replace the strong medicinal smell with aromatic flavors;

To replace cold clinical atmosphere with warm temperatures from cafe culture.

Imagine if we could let hospitals blend seamlessly into cafes,

wouldn't it make patient care experiences better?
