sisters' plan to make our New Year's Eve even more special. They had been working on it for weeks, and the result was a beautifully decorated box of "Double Twins Front and Back Cream Filled Cookies" - or as they called them, "年下" (a play on words meaning both "double twins" and "year-end").

As you might expect from their playful nature, each cookie was carefully crafted with one half dipped in chocolate and the other in creamy white icing. It was like biting into a little piece of heaven.

The girls were so excited to share their creations with us that they decided to present them at dinner time. As we sat around the table, eagerly waiting for dessert, they brought out their masterpiece. The room fell silent as everyone took in the sight before them.

The cookies were arranged artfully on a platter, each one looking like a miniature work of art. There were hearts filled with chocolate ganache, stars made from shredded coconut, and even tiny snowmen crafted from meringue kisses.

As we dug in, it became clear that these weren't just any ordinary cookies. They were an edible representation of my sisters' unique bond - two halves coming together to create something truly special.
